This installation method applies ONLY to standalone installations of HORTICOPIA® Professional on Windows 7, 8 or 10 and Server installations on Windows Server 2008 or later. For network (Server) installations, you must install Microsoft SQL Server separately before you can run HORTICOPIA Professional. You may download Microsoft SQL Server Express from Microsoft's website.
IF YOU FIRST INSTALLED THE SOFTWARE FROM THE SOFTWARE CD AND TRIED TO RUN HORTICOPIA, perform the following 3 steps before updating.
Windows 7 users should use the zip file (see below) unless you have a third party iso mounting application or wish to burn a CD first.
For Windows 8/10 only: When the download is complete, RIGHT-CLICK on V51.iso and select mount. If mount is not available, select Open with... and then File Explorer. Windows 7 and other users should use the zip file (see below) unless you have a third party iso mounting application or wish to burn a CD first.
TO OBTAIN SUPPORT ON INSTALLATION, please fill out a support ticket detailing the problems you are experiencing.
If you're having trouble with the iso file, you can also download a zip version of the software CD image:
Open the zip folder, then the V51 folder, and run the Setup. Note that the starting of the setup may take a while because Windows will have to unzip the file first.
